CLC - Beaumont Leys - Cyber Cafe

The Cyber Cafe

Cyber Cafe Photo The cyber cafe, is regarded as a general purpose room allowing students to check email and conduct research on the internet, thus increasing the pupil's confidence in 'surfing the net'. In addition to this, ICT, science, maths, revision and cross-curricular projects (including PSHE) are the range of classes that have been conducted in this suite.

Cyber Cafe Photo All computers contain the MS Office products. In addition to this, specific software may be downloaded on to the computers if required for use in a class. All computers are connected to a printer, colour printer, web cam and colour scanner. The suite also contains a plasma screen, hence maximising the teacher-student relationship and providing a new, high tech and innovative way of teaching.
